Fringe, or top drilled pearls are great for a variety of projects. They are pear shaped, drilled through small part. You generally get more pearls per strand this way too. These have a bright silver color, nice quality as well, very smooth surface, no ridging, fun to use!

Smaller size is harder to find, these average 4mm diameter, by approx 5mm long.
